Cacela Velha, Portugal

When I'm asked which is the best place to visit in the Algarve, my answer usually goes to Cacela Velha. A small village near Tavira, on the banks of the Ria Formosa, with a beach of the same name. This beach, which is among the waters of the sea and the stream of the estuary.

If you want the perfect conditions to take advantage of all that these landscapes have to offer is to turn up when the tide is low and the sun is setting. Nothing is better than crossing the estuary on foot while the green and orange reflections of water surround us.
